Particularly in the warm months (June-August) there is a wide thermal excursion with temperatures ranging from 24 degrees Celsius during the day to 0 degrees Celsius after sunset. To my countrymen who intend to visit the Country, it is advisable, therefore, to pay attention during the stay and avoid circular walk during the night hours. In the city of Windhoek, we do not recommend to stay overnight in southern districts and western.Risk of terrorism

Terrorism is a global threat. No country can be considered completely free from the risk of incidents related to this phenomenon. Areas of particular caution

Following the end of the civil war in Angola, the strip of the Caprivi (B8 federal between Bagani and Kongola) is accessible and secure, even if it is recommended in any case to avoid the paths out of the way, given the persistence of areas not yet fully drained from the mine in its time position.
It is recommended that extreme caution on the unpaved roads of the Caprivi and the Kaoko (north and north east), the layouts which may in part disappear in the rainy season. Warnings
